Plan to rest for the remainder of the day. The medication leaves you drowsy for several hours, and your driver should stay with you until you are steady. No driving, no operating equipment, and no important decisions until the next morning.
Eat lightly at first and follow whatever post-treatment instructions apply to the dentistry itself. Grogginess and patchy memory of the visit are expected, not complications. We call to check on you and answer questions once the medication has cleared.
